DiscoverBeauty® was created by renowned cosmetic physicians as a means to
empower patients in their journey toward personal beauty. We understand that patients need individualized care depending on their goals and expectations. Our goal is to educate patients about their conditions and help them understand and evaluate potential treatments.
We represent a new approach — one in which cosmetic patients and their doctors communicate better. By giving you both information and control of the doctor selection process, DiscoveryBeauty seeks to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Once you’ve learned all the latest information on your desired procedure,

With his new venture, DiscoverBeauty®, Min S. Ahn, MD, FACS, is seeking to break down barriers and stigma associated with plastic surgery and other advanced beauty treatments. Launched in April 2013, DiscoverBeauty® is the only consumer-oriented website focused on connecting users with highly-qualified plastic surgeons and dermatologists that also provides a full-body, interactive tool to simulate desired procedural results. Now, users can explore treatment options and obtain initial professional consultations privately, wherever they have Internet access.
The concept for DiscoverBeauty® was greatly inspired by the treatment philosophy Dr. Ahn demonstrates within his private practice located in Westborough, Massachusetts — provide patients with highly individualized care focused on meeting their personal goals and expectations. A specialist in facial aesthetic rejuvenation, Dr. Ahn uses his artistic eye and surgical experience to guide his clients through a highly personal process - whether performing a minimally invasive treatment or a transforming surgery. Through DiscoverBeauty® Dr. Ahn hopes to facilitate the connection and interaction between patients and physicians — ultimately providing a positive procedural experience and successful outcome for both.
Dr. Ahn received his undergraduate education at Harvard University and attended the George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the highly acclaimed University of California at San Francisco, annually ranked as one of the best hospitals in the country. After practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Ahn returned to New England to establish a private practice and raise his family near his hometown of Providence, RI.
Dr. Ahn is board certified in both Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery. His medical memberships and affiliations include: AAFPRS (American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery); ABFPRS (American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery); New England Facial Plastic Surgery Society; California Society of Facial Plastic Surgery; and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ahn has authored many articles on facial cosmetic surgery procedures and is regularly invited to speak at national and international facial plastic surgery meetings.
